My mother has been sending me photos of farm life while I've been away. So many things have happened! I've been getting daily updates, and I thought I'd share a few of the photos that she sent me.
Our Strawberries have come in! Last year I helped plant over 250 strawberry plants. This year we had our first berries. I was able to eat a few before I left, and they were oh so delicious.
We thought that a late freeze had killed off all the blueberries, but looks like we have a few survivors.
Our latest chicken additions - meet the chicks. 2 Chicks hatched out of a nest of about 13...and their mother (Uno) turned out to be the only chick that we hatched last year.
It's a blurry picture, but it's so cute seeing the chicks looking out of the coop.
Here is the "latest" latest addition. This little duckling hatched shortly after the chicks. She's been staying in a box inside the house, and my mom says that she quacks/squeaks all night long. We get daily videos of this little gal quacking her head off.
Happy Monday
