Well it worked! Shortly after I posted about our ducks not laying, eggs just started trickling in! It started with 1 or 2 for one day, then nothing the next day, then 3 the next. Now we are getting 5-6 per day! I personally think that the ducks are buying the eggs from some neighbors and placing them in the nesting boxes, but I don't have any proof yet. :)
I guess whenever I want my animals to start doing something, I should just blog about it - Internet Pressure Works :D
Here's the proof! I forgot to gather the eggs yesterday, and there are 11 today (no, not all of the eggs are in this photo...we have 2 different nesting boxes for them)! Getting 11 means that all 6 of the females laid in one day!
For some reason the chickens like being in the duck coop more than the ducks... guess they think they are missing out on something. Sometimes I even find chicken eggs in the coop!
